Not unlike the creatures who reside in their jungle homes, the Cathulix-ik are ambush predators. The advantages provided by towering tree trunks, cleverly placed traps, and treacherous flora and fauna alike make an attack on their territory a treacherous endeavor. Swift and agile, they wait until their quarry moves into a tactically advantageous position before striking, viciously and in force, from above. Unlike other factions, the Cathulix-ik do not bother with the cumbersome weight of armor, for they do not seem to fear death. Bullets and spells rain down from the jungle canopy as a small but brutal force cut down larger enemy forces with enormous machetes and wicked, curved knives. Any who perish in defense of their homeland and of their AI overlord are honored as worthy sacrifices. Their bodies are returned to the earth, to the growth and life of the jungle, and their weapons are returned to the machine that spurs them to ever-greater violence.
